Looking for a fun, free way to keep the kids entertained? Lakeshore Learning’s in-store events are a perfect opportunity for children to explore, create, and learn—without spending a dime! Once or twice a month, kids can dive into hands-on activities using unique materials, experiment with top-rated educational toys, and enjoy a special storytime. These events are a great way for families to spend quality time together while sparking creativity and curiosity in young minds. Plus, there’s an exclusive in-store coupon just for attending!
What
Lakeshore Learning holds free in-store events for kiddos and parents featuring unique supplies to experiment and create with twice a month.
In addition to the crafting portion, these free events also give kids (and caregivers) a chance to demo featured products and toys. Lakeshore is all about educational materials so the items they put out for playtime should spark creativity along with giving kids learning opportunities.
There will also be a special storytime as part of the event. Plus, attendees will receive an exclusive in-store coupon for attending.
When
The events are held on one or more Saturdays each month from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. local time.

Who
Parents and caregivers should attend these events with their children. No age restrictions or guidance is given but the crafts/activities seem geared toward kids 5 – 10.
How
Just show up! No registration is required but you should check in when you arrive. Plus, adults who check-in will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Lakeshore E-Gift Card.

🚙 September 20 – Vehicle Creations with Kwik Stix
Children will create a car, truck, tractor, or rocket with Kwik Stix. In addition the craft your kiddos will make, there are fun vehicle toys to try out including: On the Move! Big Car Carriers, Snap & Design Monster Trucks, Play & Explore Rocket, and Ready for Takeoff! Adventure Helicopter. If parents spend $25+ the day of the event, you’ll get a free “Little Blue Truck” board book to take home.
