So…if your sweet tooth is still tingling, but your oven needs a rest…we’ve got you covered with no-bake treats worthy to satisfy your cravings. But first, you might want to warn your resolutions to hibernate just a little bit longer!

Oreo Truffles

Turn the cookie loved by all into melt in your mouth magic!

Ingredients

1 package (about 36) Oreos

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

12 oz package of chocolate chips, melted

Directions

-Finely crush the Oreos.

-Mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well combined.

-Roll mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. -Dip each ball into melted chocolate, coating evenly.

-Chill in the fridge until firm.

No Bake Snowballs

January is the perfect month for snowballs, indoors and out!

Ingredients

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, well drained

1 cup chopped pecans

3 cups flaked coconut

Directions

-In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and pineapple until combined then fold in the pecans. -Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Take out of the refrigerator and roll into 1-inch balls.

-Roll balls in the coconut.

Impatient Peanut Butter Cups

When you need a sweet treat in a hurry, this one is ready in a flash!

Ingredients

1 cup smooth peanut butter

½ cup powdered sugar

1 cup chocolate chips, melted

Directions

-Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.

-Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.

-Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into each liner, spreading it to cover the bottom. -Roll peanut butter mixture into small balls and place one in each liner.

-Cover each peanut butter ball with the remaining melted chocolate.

-Chill until set.

Peanut Butter Cornflake Treats

Inspired by a mix of modern cereal sensations and vintage school day lunches, this treat will treat taste buds of all ages!

Ingredients

6 cups plain cornflake cereal

1 Stick of butter

1 cup light corn syrup

1 cup light brown sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

-In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, corn syrup and sugar.

-Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching, until the mixture begins to bubble.

-Immediately remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.

-Working quickly, mix in corn flakes and coat thoroughly.

-Scoop cookie size portions onto wax or parchment paper.

-Work quickly to prevent the mixture from firming up.

-Allow to cool completely.

Gnome Brownie Bites

No, gnomes don’t bite, but there’s no treat like gnomes after the holidays! 

Ingredients

-Prepared brownie bites from the bakery section. 

-Canned (or homemade) cream cheese frosting. 

-Whole strawberries, one berry for each gnome. 

-Reese’s Puffs cereal.

Directions

-Wash strawberries and allow them to dry completely.

-Pull off the green leaves and cut out the stem, making a small hole. Do not cut straight across the tops of the berries.

-Place some frosting in a piping bag or in a sandwich bag with one small corner snipped off.

-Pipe frosting over the top of each brownie bite and down one side to create a beard.

-Place a strawberry on top of each brownie bite and add Reese’s puff cereal for a nose.

-Refrigerate immediately for at least one hour before serving.
